LAV Clothing Collection
LAV clothing collection is a dress and blouse collection of our Finnish family company designed for spring and summer. The patterns are the Finnish design of Atso-Kasper Costiander. The materials used are linen and lyocell, two of the best ecological materials.
Linen is a strong and durable material. Flax cultivation maintains the healthy diversity of the ecosystem and binds carbon dioxide from the air. Linen can be used 100 percent and is completely biodegradable. Linen absorbs moisture well and has excellent thermal conductivity. Because of this, linen warms with cool weather and feels cool on the skin with warm air.
Lyocell is a modified fiber made from cellulose, which can be made from many different types of wood. Lyocell is manufactured using wet spinning and a non-toxic organic chemical as a solvent. 99% of the chemicals used in manufacturing can be recycled for reuse. Lyocell feels very soft and comfortable to wear.
LAV clothing collection can be found in well-equipped clothing stores all over Finland. The collection is not for sale in our online store.
